Privately printed biography based on interviews with Killefer by Wade Killefer, Gail Killefer, and Jessica Holland and other
research by the author. Subjects include his student experiences at Stanford, Harvard (where he became friends with Joe Kennedy),
and Oxford; his experiences as a Navy pilot in the Pacific theater during World War II; and his professional life.
Killefer earned his A.B. at Stanford in 1938, his J.D. at Harvard in 1946, and his Bachelor of Civil Law from Oxford University
in 1947. He was on the legal staff of the U.S. High Commission for Germany 1951-52, First Vice President of the Export-Import
Bank of Washington, D.C., 1960-62, and held executive positions at the Chrysler Corporation, 1972-76, and the U.S. Trust Company,
1976-1981. From 1971-1981 he was on the Board of Trustees of Stanford University.
