the annual fund, the UCI Alumni Association, and the annual Lauds and Laurels awards ceremony.

Historical Background
University Advancement at the University of California, Irvine is responsible for campus fundraising and supporting connections
between the campus and its alumni and community. University Advancement oversees the offices of UCI Alumni Relations and
the Alumni Association, Development, Community and Government Relations, Resource Planning and Administration, and Health
Sciences Advancement. The Vice Chancellor of University Advancement reports to the Office of the Chancellor.
