Series 11: University of California 1949-1989

Physical Description: Cartons 44-50

Arrangement

Arranged alphabetically by folder title

Scope and Content Note

Series documents Pimentel's involvement in the University of California. As a faculty member of UC Berkeley, he participated in many aspects of administering the Chemistry Department and also in the administration of the University more widely, including serving on UC-wide committees and serving at the Lawrence Berkeley (National) Laboratory as the director of the Laboratory for Chemical Biodynamics. This series includes committee records, correspondence, reports, telephone logs, and calendars. Cartons 49 and 50 are restricted for 75 years after date of creation due to the possibility of Federally restricted student and personnel records included.
