The scrapbooks consist mostly of newspaper clippings arranged chronologically from 1953-1966. Photocopies of clippings are grouped by subject, scrapbooks are arranged chronologically. There are photocopies of clippings relating to Windsor Hills (includes copies of brochures and advertisements), Fritz Burns, Panorama City, Westchester, Public Housing, and the Post-War House. Scope and Content Note

Arranged chronologically. This series includes appointments, resolutions, and a certificate of gratitude and other statements of appreciation for Fritz Burns from various community and business organizations and government bodies. There is also an honorary degree from Loyola Marymount University (1967). There are a few artifacts: two gavels and a gold-plated spade in a glass-fronted presentation case: "'The Spade of Progress' Presented to Fritz B. Burns Founder of Panorama City in appreciation of his 'Spade Work' in developing the San Fernando Valley's Most Outstanding Community."
