Abstract: This collection comprises the papers of Patric A. Magee, a transgender man active in many transgender support groups and activities
in Orange County and Southern California. The collection includes personal correspondence and writings by Magee, as well as
fliers, pamphlets, and brochures from Southern Californian and national LGBT and transgender organizations, materials from
transgender conferences attended by Magee, materials detailing surgical and medical procedures, newsletters and magazines,
and catalogs for products related to transgenderism. The materials are representative of the issues transgender Southern Californians
face and many of the resources available to them.

Biography
Patric Magee is the founder and facilitator of OCFTM (Orange County Female to Male), a support and social group for members
of the female-to-male transsexual/transgender community. Magee has also served as a board member for and secretary of the
Elections Committee of the County of Orange (ECCO), a nonpartisan political action committee for lesbian, gay bisexual and
transgender, HIV/AIDS and women's causes, and was the co-founder and director of the Orange County Transgender Coalition in
2004. Magee has been a guest speaker, lecturer and panelist at various institutions including California State Universities
at Northridge and the Channel Islands, Chapman University, Claremont College, University of California, Irvine, and Santa
Ana College.
