Writings, correspondence, notes, memoranda, poll data, statistics, printed matter, and photographs, relating to American politics
during the presidential administration of Ronald Reagan, especially with regard to campaign contributions and effects on income
distribution; and to the gubernatorial administration of Michael Dukakis in Massachusetts, especially with regard to state
economic policy, and the campaign of Michael Dukakis as the Democratic candidate for president of the United States in 1988;
and to social conditions in the United States.
Collection is open for research. Access to audiovisual materials requires at least two weeks advance notice. Audiovisual materials
include sound recordings, video recordings, and motion picture film. Hoover staff will determine whether use copies of the
materials requested can be made available. Some materials may not be accessible even with advance notice. Please contact the
