Biographical Information:
Dr. Seymour Okmin was a dentist and an avid photographer. He was an active member of the B'nai B'rith Henry Weinberger Lodge,
which merged with the Edward Breitbard Lodge to become the B'nai B'rith Weinberger Breitbard Lodge.

The materials in this collection were donated to the Jewish Historical Society of San Diego in 2000 by Dr. Seymour Okmin (JHSSD
#2000.02.) It was transferred to the Library and Information Access November 5, 2009.

Scope and Contents
The collection consists primarily of photographs and negatives, most of which were taken by Dr. Okmin. A large photographic
scrapbook and album are also included, in addition to newspaper articles, correspondence, newsletters, and materials pertaining
to lodge business.
The materials in this collection were donated to the Jewish Historical Society of San Diego in 2000 by Dr. Seymour Okmin (JHSSD
#2000.02.) It was transferred to the Library and Information Access November 5, 2009.
