The Rosemary Biles Collection about Ralph J. Bunche consists primarily of newspaper and magazine clippings, publications, ephemera and photographs of and relating to the career and death of Bunche. Included are clippings about Bunche's retirement from the United Nations, ephemera from the opening of Ralph J. Bunche Memorial Park, official United Nations photographs of Bunche, and first day covers of commemorative stamps. The bulk of the material is dated 1971.

Rosemary Biles served as a nurse to Ralph J. Bunche, Undersecretary General of the United Nations, during his final illness in 1971. She remained friendly with his family after Bunche's death.
