The collection includes correspondence, organizational papers, reports, financial records, and clippings.

The Current Club was a loose and informal gathering of San Diego intellectuals (many were SDSU faculty) who met regularly to discuss matters of current interest. Formal topics for discussion were decided upon before meetings, and included such things as politics, religion, and the arts.
