    Biography/History

    There is very little biographical information currently available about Elaine Rich. She is television producer whose credits include the television series Charlie's Angels (1979-1980) and Dynasty (1981-1989). Inspired by the soap opera Dallas, Dynasty was one of the most successful prime-time dramas that depicted the lavish lives of the Carrington and Colby oil tycoon families.

    Scope and Content

    The collection consists primarily of scripts and photocopied press clippings for the television series Dynasty, related to the career of Elaine Rich. The scripts include assorted drafts for episodes from the original Dynasty television series (1980-1988). The press clipping include Dynasty (seasons 1, 2, 3, and 6) and Dynasty II: The Colbys (season 1). Additionally there is one script each from the television series Hotel and Strike Force and paper copy printouts from Charlie's Angels' fan websites.
