Biographical/Historical Sketch
Austin Flint Rogers, A.B. and A.M. University of Kansas and Ph.D. Columbia, 1902, was
professor of mineralogy at Stanford University from 1905 to 1942.
Collection includes "Determinative Mineralogy with Tests for and Descriptions of
Minerals," compiled by D. Crandall and C. H. Beal under the direction of Prof. A. F.
Rogers, 1911 (bound typescript); Rogers' notebook on "crystallographic constants of the
