Biographical Information:
Joan and Phillip Farman were active in local conservation issues in the San Diego area. Mrs. Farman was a member of the Sierra
Club and she served on the Board of Century 3, City Park and Recreation citizens committees as well as belonging to numerous
public interest organizations. As a practicing attorney, Mr. Farman's legal background provided the necessary legal expertise
for their conservation crusades.
