Biographical/Historical Sketch
The Associates of the Stanford University Libraries (ASUL), founded in 1973, was a support organization to the University’s
libraries. In addition to raising money for library acquisitions, it hosted a number of programs, lectures and workshops that
were free and open to the public. The association was disbanded in 2007 when its administrative funding was cut.

keepsakes, invitations, calendars, and postcards, 1974-2006, with a few items from Library events prior to the formation of
