Description
Astrology charts, notes, a questionnaire,
correspondence and miscellaneous typescripts related to Angels' Talk, a medical
astrology project begun in 1987 to determine any correlation between astrology
and persons with AIDS. The collection contains astrological profiles for 105
individuals who lived with or died from AIDS, and 4 composite profiles. The
project was conducted by Michael F. Mitchell, who died of AIDS in
1992.
Background
Angels' Talk was a medical astrology study begun by astrologer Michael
F. Mitchell and conducted between the years 1988 and 1993. The goal of the
Angels' Talk project was to determine if there is a correlation between
astrology and people with AIDS. The research included astrological charts of
over 100 individuals in the United States who lived with or died of AIDS.
Michael Mitchell died of AIDS in 1992.
