Carranza, who earned her MA in communications from Stanford University in 1986, received the Golden Eagle Award from the Council
on International Nontheatrical Events for this film.
Concerns silicon chip fabrication; filmed at the Center for Integrated Systems at Stanford and at various industrial sites
in Santa Clara County, California.
