Palos Verdes Library District's photograph collection includes images of historical interest to the Palos Verdes Peninsula and surrounding Los Angeles County area. Images document schools, churches, lighthouses, residential, and public buildings. Famous locations include Wayfarer's Chapel, La Venta Inn, Marine Land, and the Point Vicente Lighthouse. Formats include panoramic and aerial photographs. A gift from the Palos Verdes Homes Association, most of the pictures originally appeared in the Palos Verdes Bulletin, published from November 1924 through October 1931 as the area's first newsletter.
