    1943-1946 Served as president of Board of Trustees for Mills College
    1942-1943 Served as president for the Pan America Union
    1926-1969 Worked for the Schlage Lock Company; from temporary management to President to Chairman of the Board.

    Speeches, correspondence, reports, diaries, minutes, photographs, memoranda, newspaper articles, pamphlets, printed media, and other documents relating to the activities of the Bohemian Club, the Pan American Union, San Francisco civic affairs such as the San Francisco War Memorial and the Golden Gate International Exposition, World War I, and various national business associations. Also includes information on the establishment of the Hoover Institution and correspondence with Herbert Hoover, Richard Nixon, and Calvin Coolidge.
