Biography of Jerry Voorhis
Jerry Voorhis, 1901-1984, was founder of the Voorhis School for Boys in San Dimas, Calif.; U.S. congressman from California's
12th district, 1936-1946, until his defeat by Richard Nixon; member of the Dies Committee on Un-American Activities; president
and later executive director of the Co-operative League of the U.S.A
