The collection features mostly printed and typewritten catalogs, price lists, press releases, and other materials (business
correspondence, clippings, financial documents, newsletters, various publications, notes, misc.) related to the Slavic book
trade in the Western world in the 20th - the beginning of the 21st centuries. Particularly beginning in late 1980s, the collection
also includes catalogs and lists from dealers and other entities inside the Soviet Union, Russia, and Eastern and East-Central
Europe seeking to sell material to Western libraries. The collection includes materials in almost all major Slavic languages
(Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, Czech, etc.), as well as in English, French, German, and other Western and Central European languages.
