1851 - 1909 (Bulk 1851-1883) Account books from 1880s-1890s. Poll tax books list surnames and tax information; 5 of the ledgers list surnames and page numbers of some other (unidentified) volume. Also cancelled bonds; warrants, vouchers and receipts; jury lists; militia lists; correspondence; civil and criminal judgments, court summons, bonds, attachments, warrants to pay witnesses, legal and social services rendered; Los Angeles city and county school papers; certificates for sales for taxes; applications for licenses; statements on properties for taxation. 1851 warrants in Spanish. Militia lists, 1861-62. Also Los Angeles City Treasurer warrants 1871-1873. Oversize box contains school district bonds.
