Abstract:
Wray Castle ledger (SAFR 14286, HDC 78) was prepared by the F.C. Danson & Company Average Adjusters of Liverpool and London for the owner of the WRAY CASTLE from 1906 to 1907. It begins with an index followed by four pages of abstracts from the logbook of the voyage: Liverpool to San Francisco and return, under Captain J. Owens. The remainder is six pages of particulars, survey report extracts regarding damage done to the ship from fire and storms and a ledger of claims, losses, and cargo. This collection has been processed to the collection level and is open for use without restriction.
