    Abstract: L. Clarice "Cal" Davis was an art book dealer in Sherman Oaks, California. The collection consists of correspondence and sale records for "Derriere le Miroir," a collection of birthday cards sent to William Randolph Hearst by King Features Syndicate comic strip artists, and a number of prints, engravings and other artwork collected by Davis.

    The collection consists of correspondence and sale records for "Derriere le Miroir," an exhibition catalog which published original graphic works about six times a year, a collection of birthday cards sent to William Randolph Hearst by King Features Syndicate comic strip artists, and a number of prints, engravings and other artwork collected by Davis.
