Cuban passport, dated January 28, 1852, for T.R. Church, who appears to have been traveling from New Orleans.
Resources did not have biographical information on T.R. Church. The folder containing his passport is labeled "Passport from
Mexico 1852." However, there are indications on the passport that it was, in fact, a Cuban passport and that the passenger
(Church) was coming from New Orleans (see Scopes and Content note). Therefore, it is unclear whether Church was an American
traveling to Cuba, or a Cuban who was returning from the United States.
