Scope and Content of Collection
This collection includes photographic prints from several prominent photographers noted for their contributions to the history
of photography. The photographs range from 1865 to 1992 and were collected by Patricia and Richard Shirk.
The photographs are from the following artists: Ansel Adams, Eugene Atget, Bill Brandt, Harry M. Callahan, Julia Margaret
Cameron, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Imogene Cunningham, Frederick H. Evans, Michael Kenna, Andre Kertesz, Aaron Siskind, Frank
M. Sutcliffe, Brett Weston, Edward Weston, and Neil Weston.
Prints are in various sizes and mediums including: albumen, carbon, platinum, and silver gelatin.
