This collection contains multiple letters from Elmo Culbert writing to his wife in Salt Lake City, Utah, during World War
One. A large majority of the letters were of Culbert expressing his feelings for his wife and how much he missed her, while
going through military training. In one of the letters Clubert described to his wife a coffee factory explosion where 25 girls
were killed. There is also a telegram dated October 22, 1922 mentioning the death of a mother (unsure if Culbert's mother
or someone else's).
