Los Angeles County Bar Association and gay and lesbian legal issues Series 1.  1980-2000

Series Description

This series includes meeting minutes, correspondence, memoranda, reports, newsletters, financial records, and resource material documenting Barnes' work in the Individual Rights Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA). The Individual Rights Section concentrates on legal issues that affect individual liberty, including those involving LGBT and AIDS patients' rights. This series also includes government-issued reports, clippings, legal briefs and other material documenting LGBT legal issues.

Administrative files from the Individual Rights Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association are at the beginning of this series and arranged chronologically. The remaining folders are arranged alphabetically.
