Series 5. Time Capsule 1988-1989, undated

Scope and Contents

Ronald R. Simons, Chair of the 50th Anniversary Committee, proposed a time capsule to commemorate Cal Poly Pomona's 50th anniversary. However, there was inadequate funding for the project and it did not go forward. Some of the materials selected for the unrealized 50th anniversary time capsule were later included in a time capsule created for Founder's Day in 1996. This series contains 50th anniversary materials originally selected for the 1988 time capsule that were not included in the 1996 time capsule.
