    Scope and Content of Collection

The Science Fiction Ephemera Collection includes some 137 science fiction periodical titles with extensive runs including early pulps, six linear feet of sample titles including fanzines; 135 volumes of paperbacks related to the original Star Trek television show and subsequent motion pictures , scripts of the original television series, 29 boxes of papers related to the Star Trek original television series, Forest Ackerman, the Tarzan series, and other science fiction authors and organizations, and some board games. The science fiction periodical titles have two parts. One part is shelved alphabetically by title. The other part is shelved by an assigned accession number (S.F. 1) for example. There is some duplication between these two parts. The Star Trek Paperbacks have been cataloged and are shelved in call number order. Star Trek scripts are shelved in an accession number order. The Archival Boxes are labeled by category and shelved in that order.
