The 1932 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the X Olympiad, were held in Los Angeles, California, from July 30 to August 14, 1932. The collection includes announcements, ephemera, guides, photographs, programs, serials, tickets and other printed matter. There are a small number of items for Olympiads other than 1932 and, unrelatedly, the East-West Football games at the Pasadena Rose Bowl.

Scope and content:

The collection includes announcements, ephemera, guides, photographs, programs, serials, tickets and other printed matter. There are a small number of items for Olympiads other than 1932. Also a box containing a blue canvas cap, button, and a grouping taken from an album (identification card for Charles Shelton to Olympic Stadium; tickets to the Games; three Pasadena Rose Bowl tickets for East-West Football; and photographs from the Games). Also additional photographs, copy prints, negatives and transparencies, 1900-1988 (bulk is 1932)
