The American Association of University Women (AAUW), founded in 1881, is a national organization promoting equity and education for women and girls. The AAUW has over 1000 local chapters across the United States and another 800 partners at colleges and universities. The Glendale (CA) Branch was established in 1923. Membership is open to all women with an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
