Collection contains writings, correspondence, books, video cassettes, and teaching materials. A large amount of the collection
pertains to articles, news clippings, pamphlets, catalogs, publications, reports, and summaries on SMUD and the Rancho Seco
nuclear power plant.
Background
Homer W. Ibser served on the faculty at California State University, Sacramento in the Departments of Physics and Astronomy.
He focused primarily on nuclear power and the negative effects of radiation. He was also an advocate for the closing of the
Rancho Seco nuclear power plant.
