Transcripts duplicate those available in Library Special Collections collection 300. Transcripts document the history of Southern California through interviews with individuals who have participated in the region's most salient social and political trends. Included are interviews on the arts, social movements, politics and government, university history, and a variety of other areas.

    Biography/History

    The Center for Oral History Research (COHR)   is a subunit within UCLA Library Special Collections. COHR documents the history of Southern California through interviews with individuals who have participated in the region's most salient social and political trends. The collection includes interviews on the arts, social movements, politics and government, university history, and a variety of other areas.

    Scope and Content

    Internal reference copies of UCLA oral history transcripts maintained and used by staff of the Center for Oral History Research. Many of the transcripts duplicate those available in Library Special Collections collection 300.
