Description
This collection consists of letters written by Sgt. Clyde D. Eoff to his mother, sisters, and father, from 1917 to 1942. Also included in this collection are photographs, postcards, and miscellaneous ephemera.
Background
Clyde D. Eoff was trained to be a soldier in the army during World War One, but was transferred to the Ordnance Department. He served as a Sergeant for 314th Mobile Ordnance Repair Shop, American Expidentiary Forces and was eventually promoted to 2nd Lieutenant.
