Description
This collection consists of letters written to Harry A. Berger, by friends and family, from 1938 to 1947. Also included in this collection is one a small photograph of Harry A. Berger, some miscellaneous ephemera and one copy of Yank magazine, from May of 1945.
Background
Harry A. Berger, T/Sgt., served with the 8th Air Force, 2nd Air Division, 2nd Combat Bombardment Wing, 445th Bombardment Group, Squadron 702. It is believed that he was stationed in Tibenham, United Kingdom roughly from 1942 until late 1944.
