The Michel Amestoy papers span the years circa 1941-1965 and encompass 2 linear feet. The collection
contains production files and scripts, largely related to World War II training films and later
industrial and public relations films; personal correspondence; and 16mm film catalogs. Some of the films
were for the Army Air Forces First Motion Picture Unit located in Culver City, California. Many of the
scripts were written by Amestoy and some were apparently collected by Amestoy for projects he may have
been involved with in some capacity.
