Double Play: the San Francisco City Hall Killings. The book recounts the events surrounding Dan White's assassinations of San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and San Francisco
Supervisor Harvey Milk on November 27, 1978, and White’s trial in 1979.
Mike Weiss is a newspaper journalist and author. He was raised in New York City and educated at Knox College and Johns Hopkins
University. He has been a staff writer at The Baltimore Evening Sun, The San Jose Mercury News and The San Francisco Chronicle, and has written for numerous magazines in the United States and abroad, including Rolling Stone, Esquire, the Village Voice, Mother Jones and The Sunday Correspondent of London. He is the author of the Ben Henry mystery novels as well as three works of non-fiction, Living Together, Double Play and A Very Good Year.
