One of the greatest English-speaking preachers of the twentieth century, Evangelical Scottish Presbyterian James Stewart (1896-1990)
was a minister of the Church of Scotland. He taught New Testament Language, Literature and Theology at the University of Edinburgh
(New College). He wrote several books on the art of preaching and was co-editor of Schleiermacher’s The Christian Faith. The
collection consists of 28 CD recordings of his sermons.
