This is a group of the most dangerous gang of confidence men that ever worked San Francisco. They were arrested after robbing
a number of citizens out of large sums of money. Their games were "Two Card Monte," "Pea and Shell Game," "Stud Horse Poker,"
and other short card tricks. On August 23, 1894, they were arrested by Detectives Charles Cody, William Handley, and George
Graham. Their names and prison numbers are as follows: George Watson, No. 12288, Charles Cummings, No. 12290, Joseph Wright,
No. 12291, Thomas Ward, No. 12292, Frank Howard, No. 12293, and T.P. Conlin, No. 12294.
