Fine day but quite cold in the morning feel very [mad]. Letters of work helping [illegible] the Hosptial [illegible]. [illegible]
wrote to mother nothing of importance occurred today.
Pleasant and [illegible] like received a paper from home, am almost well as I hope. Nothing of importance today a rebel [illegible]
was captured and then deserted last night. Took a good ride Horse Back but was compelled to go to bed as I returned on account
of a fever [illegible] by over exertion.
