across burning California and Arizona deserts. Not a few of them never make it. Pedro Gomez Mendoza, 25, takes a last look
at the promised land of California after being apprehended by Border Patrol. Pedro survived 80-mile hike across blistering
desert and then walked, as may of them do, into the arms of the law
