Stanton General Hospital. A beautiful but cold day. but little of any account to do in the Office.- War news good, but rather
dull. In the afternoon received a letter from my Cousin (2) Mrs. [illegible] [illegible]. Took a short walk and visited my
friend Mr. Moon. IN the evening enjoyed a few hours in the society of some [illegible] friends who live near.- Retuned to
the Hospital and wrote an answer to my Cousin's letter.- Have felt quite well today.
