A bright beautiful day, very warm in the Evening. Was news good, no more fighting in the Potomac army reported. Sherman's
army fighting. No decisions since arrived yet. Did a little work today. Printed something for my own convenience. No letters
today, none written. In the evening accompanied by a friend. Visited Central division, Sof. L. had a very pleasant time, on
our return to the Hospital stopped with a few this young [men] and [illegible] Miss Hutchings were called in and enjoyed ourselves
quite well, returned to Hospital at 12 1/2 guess early in the morning felt very well all day. Would like a [illegible] letter
from my Judith.
